Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ShineStudio ("the Service", "we", "us") is a web application that helps sellers create product listings, message-card designs, and advertising creatives using AI tools. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ShineStudio offers a free account with optional credit purchases. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice. The Service may occasionally be unavailable, and generated content or stored assets may be modified or removed (for example, generated images are automatically cleaned up after a retention period). Do not rely on the Service as your only copy of anything important.

3. Accounts and access

You can create an account and verify your email to get started. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and any API keys secret. Anyone with your key can act as your account. We may suspend or revoke access at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload (images, text, product data) and, to the extent permitted by the underlying AI providers, the content you generate. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service: to store, process, transmit, and display your content back to you and to the third-party services you connect. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to everything you upload.

5. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.
• No attempting to access other users' data or to bypass access controls.
• No reselling or providing the Service to third parties without our written permission.
• No use that disrupts or places unreasonable load on the Service.
• Saved libraries are for work you use with ShineStudio, not general-purpose file hosting. Do not bypass storage limits or use multiple accounts to evade them.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate text and images. AI output can be wrong, low quality, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you publish it, and for making sure your listings and ads comply with the policies of the platforms you publish to (for example Shopify, ShineOn, and Meta) and with applicable advertising laws.

7. Third-party services

The Service connects to third-party platforms you authorize (such as Shopify, ShineOn, Google Drive, and Google Sheets). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Disconnecting a platform stops new activity but does not undo actions already taken there.

8. Fees

There is no monthly subscription. You can buy additional generation credits as a one-time top-up. Each available pack shows its price and included credits before payment. Stripe processes payments. Credits are used for paid generation features; the amount depends on the selected model and settings. Buying credits does not increase library storage.

All saved libraries share a 100 MB storage allowance per account. Individual uploads are limited to 40 MB. Existing files remain available if an account is over its allowance, but new saved uploads are blocked until space is freed or support increases the allowance. Email [email protected] to request more storage or help with a payment. Support handles storage increases manually.

Temporary generation references have a separate 100 MB allowance and expire after 24 hours. Save work you want to keep to a library or download it. Generated files hosted by AI providers may expire according to that provider's retention period, even when their entries still appear in generation history.

To prevent repeated upload-and-delete abuse, saved and temporary storage each have a daily upload allowance of 500 MB or five times that storage allowance, whichever is greater. It resets at midnight UTC. Accepted uploads and copies count their full file size, including replacements and uploads that later fail. Deleting files does not reset the daily allowance. Contact support if you need help with a limit.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Time estimates. Any time figures we show (for example "about a minute", "~1 minute", or comparisons such as "3 to 4 hours by hand") are illustrative, best-case estimates, not guarantees. Where we describe a task as taking "about a minute of your time", that refers to your own hands-on time to review and launch what the Service prepares; the Service does the underlying work automatically in the background, which typically takes several minutes and varies with how many items you queue, third-party AI provider performance, and demand. Scheduled or overnight runs (described as happening "while you sleep") depend on your settings and on third-party availability, and are not guaranteed to finish by any particular time. Comparisons to doing the work "by hand" are illustrative only and will differ from person to person.

No results guarantee. The Service helps you produce listings and ad creatives. We do not promise any particular outcome, including sales, revenue, traffic, ad approval, ad performance, or store results. Those depend on your products, pricing, audience, the platforms you use, and other factors outside our control.

Marketing statements. Descriptions, examples, and figures on our marketing pages (including the landing page) are illustrative and for general information. They are not promises or warranties and are not part of any agreement between us.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (which may be zero during the beta).

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or if the Service is discontinued.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
